The GATE examination is a Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted for the admission of graduate students into Post Graduate courses. The candidates who have been looking forward to M.Tech admission, other PG courses or PSU recruitment through GATE must fill their application form for GATE 2022 which has been extended till 30th September 2021. GATE 2022 score will remain valid for 3 years from the date of announcement of results. As announced by IIT Kharagpur, GATE 2022 will be held on 05th, 06th, 12th, and 13th February 2022

GATE Optional Exam 2023
IIT Kharagpur is the organising institute for GATE Exam 2022. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national examination conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee. The exam score is used by different Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture Government institutes to select students for master programs and Doctoral programs. The total number of papers has been revised to 29 Subjects with an addition of two new subject papers — GE (Geomatics Engineering) and NM (Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering).

GATE 2023 Application Form
The GATE 2022 Application Form has been available on the official website of IIT Kharagpur from 30 August 2022 onwards. The last date to fill GATE Application Form 2023 has been revised to 30th September 2022 and the candidates can apply directly from the below link.
A candidate who is desired to fill the GATE 2023 application form for one or two papers should submit only. application form.
Steps To Apply Online For GATE 2023 Exam
The date of the GATE 2022 application is from 30th August 2021 to 30th September 2022. Candidates can check the steps to apply for the GATE 2022.
➤ Registration: Candidates have to register themselves through the GATE Online Application Processing System or GOAPs by entering their name, email id, and mobile number after which an enrollment id will be generated. Candidates have to change the password for future login purpose.
➤ Application Form: After completing registration, an application form will appear in which the candidates have to provide personal, academic, and qualification details. candidates will have to choose the preferred exam centres which are given above while filling the online application form.
➤ Uploading Images: Once the candidate has filled the application form, they have to upload the scanned copy of the photograph, signature and category certificate (if applicable) as per the specifications of the exam authority.

Candidates must note that these are the prerequisites for the GATE 2023 registration:

GATE 2023 Form Correction Fee
All the applications submitted for the GATE 2022 Exam will be scrutinized for the accuracy of the data. If any error is found in the application form, it will be open for rectification. The following changes in some particular areas are allowed. The details that can be corrected are:

GATE 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates who is filling the online registration form for GATE 2022 should be a citizen of India. The candidates outside India can apply for the GATE exam 2022 if they meet the given eligibility criteria
Nationality
Candidates need to fulfil the eligibility requirements for the admissions through GATE 2023 as mentioned below. The IIT Kharagpur will be announcing the eligibility criteria as applicable for the candidates willing to appear for GATE exam 2023.
➤ Must have completed or in the final year or in the pre-final year of their bachelor’s degree in engineering and technology or;
➤ Must have completed or in the final year or in the pre-final year of their Post Graduate degree in any relevant science subjects

Age Limit
There is no age limit for appearing in the GATE 2022 exam. The candidates who want admission for Master’s degree of require GATE qualified for any PSU recruitments.
GATE 2023 Exam Pattern [XL,XH]
The GATE 2022 exam will be conducted in online mode (Computer Based Test). A total no. of 65 questions will be asked in the GATE online exam for 100 marks. The total time is allotted for this exam is 3 hours. Candidates can check the exam pattern of the Gate exam below.

GATE 2022 Cut-Off Marks [Optional Subjects]
The cut-off marks will be released after the GATE 2022 exam is conducted in February 2022. Till then the candidates can have a look at the previous year’s “GATE 2021 Cut Off marks and highest marks”
There are two types of Cut-Off, one is the Qualifying Cut Off and the other is Admission Cut Off which are explained below
GATE Qualifying Cut-Off: These are the minimum marks that a candidate should score to qualify for the exam. There is a subject cut-off also. GATE qualifying cut off will be released by the conducting body.
GATE Admission Cut Off: This Cut Off is released by the individual institutes and depend on the number of seats, number of applicants, category of applicants, etc.

GATE 2023 Admit Card
The conducting organization will be releasing the GATE Admit Card 2021 on 03rd January 2023 as notified in the notification. The GATE 2022 exam has been scheduled for 4th, 5th, 11th, and 12th February 2023, and the admit card will be released by IIT Kharagpur. The candidates will need to enter their enrollment ID and password to download their GATE 2022 Admit card.
GATE 2023 Answer Key
Firstly the provisional answer will be released by the authority on the official website for each exam shift. The candidates will submit their objections to the answer key if any, and the final GATE 2023 Answer key will be released after assessing the objections submitted.
GATE Result 2023
The GATE 2023 results are expected to be released on 16th March 2023. Candidates can check their results along with the scorecard after the release of the result by the conducting body. These scores will be used by different institutes and PSUs for the admission and recruitment process.
GATE 2023 ScoreCard
IIT Kharagpur will be releasing GATE 2022 scorecards for the candidates who qualify in the written examination after the declaration of GATE results. The GATE 2022 mark sheet will be made available online on the official website (GOAPS) portal. Candidates need to enter their enrollment ID and password to download their GATE scorecard. GATE 2022 scorecard will contain all the important details including candidates marks, score, all India rank, qualifying marks, etc.
